At St Barnabas pre-school play and learning go hand in

hand, we provide tailored play opportunities to enable

every child to grow and develop.

Children    learn    best    when    engaged    in    play    of    their choosing,    to    enable    this    self-motivated    learning    to flourish    we    take    into    account    every    child’s    interest and plan our resources carefully around this. We   offer   a   variety   of   activities   and   equipment   each session     that     cover     all     areas     of     the     Early     Years Foundation Stage: • Personal Social and Emotional Development • Communication, Language and Literacy • Physical Development • Literacy • Mathematics • Understanding the World • Expressive Arts and Design

By     working     in     partnership     with     parents     and families   children   thrive   and   we   can   be   sure   that every   child   receives   consistent   care   and   education that is personal to their needs. Upon    registration    every    child    is    allocated    a    key worker,      this      helps      them      to      form      secure relationships   within   the   setting   and   helps   us   build a close partnership with those at home. Our   friendly   staff   are   always   on   hand   for   a   chat and    we    have    regular    parent    consultations    for    a more in depth look at how each child is getting on.
